About InspectorCareers

InspectorCareers is a SpotRisk, Inc. site for insurance field inspectors. It lists public USA jobs and points to Loss Control Academy.

InspectorCareers.com lists public inspector openings and points readers to training. SpotRisk, Inc. owns it. Reach the site at [email protected] .

The site exists because insurance field work is hard to see from the outside. People hear “inspector” and picture a home buyer’s walkthrough, a claims adjuster, or a municipal code official. The jobs on this board are none of those. They are loss control surveys, premium audits, and related field visits that carriers buy so they can price and keep risk.

What the site does

The job feed is the public Underwriter Services Association sitemap and RSS. We store a short excerpt, the listing facts, and a link back to the original posting. We do not reprint full descriptions. Apply always goes to the USA URL. This site is not the employer.

Each live job page keeps the occupation, specialty, place, and a short summary. When a listing leaves the feed, the old URL stays up as a noindex page that points at the state jobs list. We do not keep a private copy of the full posting.

The jobs hub is the live board. State pages exist for every state and the District of Columbia. A state with no openings says so. Occupation pages and state-plus-occupation pages appear when the current sync has the work. Counts on the job market snapshot come from the same file.

A visitor who wants work should start on the hub, open a state, and read the original posting. A visitor who wants to understand a product should start on survey types and then take the matching course. This site does not take applications and it does not place people. It names the public board, the matching course, and the talent pool, then gets out of the way. If you already write surveys, use the hub. If you are new, read a guide first so the listing makes sense.

Who the pages are for

People who want field inspection work. People who already write surveys and need the next territory. Hiring firms that want a public URL they can send. Searchers who want a straight answer about what a commercial package visit or a premium audit actually is.

If you need a course, the page names the Loss Control Academy product that matches the survey type. If you want firms to review your name, the inspector talent pool is the RecruitInspectors join form. Inspection firms review that pool when they need field work.

Training links go to Loss Control Academy . Course names on this site map to LCA pages in the course mapping file.

Commercial package and property surveys map to Commercial Risk Control , sold there as Commercial Property and Casualty. Homeowners and dwelling work maps to Personal Lines . Workers compensation visits map to Workers’ Comp . Inland marine maps to Inland Marine . Premium audit does not have a live LCA course yet. Those pages point at the programs catalog .

The Complete program bundles the current survey courses. A certificate does not guarantee a job. It gives a hiring firm something to review next to a live application.

What the guides cover

Career guides explain how people get into the work and how a survey runs once you have orders. Survey type pages stay on one product: commercial loss control, residential and high-value homes, workers compensation, or premium audit. Finding work in your state is the map back to the live board.

Those pages describe the day, who hires, what a visit looks like, what gets reported, and how pay and schedule are usually shaped. They do not invent a national license rule or a fee table. When a listing or an LCA course page states a fact, the article can cite it. When it does not, the article leaves the number out.

How jobs get here

A daily job reads the public USA sitemap and RSS, skips paths robots.txt disallows, and stores a short record per job. The build turns that file into job pages, state pages, and the snapshot. GitHub Actions runs the sync on a daily schedule.

We do not rewrite an employer’s requirements. We do not mark a listing as easy. The How to qualify block on a job page names the matching LCA course for that occupation and specialty. It is a training path, not a promise.

Ownership and contact

SpotRisk, Inc. owns InspectorCareers. Related sites are Loss Control Academy for courses and RecruitInspectors for the talent pool. Underwriter Services Association remains the source of the public openings.

Questions about a listing go to the firm that posted it. Questions about a course go to Loss Control Academy. Questions about this site go to [email protected] .

What we will not invent

A national license rule for loss control does not live on this site. Neither does a fee table. Firms write those facts on their own postings, and they change. If a page needs a number and the public source is not in front of us, the page stays quiet on that point.

The same rule covers company ownership of a state, typical time on site, and any claim that a certificate gets you hired. Training helps a firm review you. The listing is still the requirement.
